Max Brava

Max Brava, known as a “creative activist” (and yes…he’s got the scars to prove it) has been at the forefront of the fashion and beauty world for over four decades. Max began his career as an apprentice at ABC television in Washington, D.C. and then at ABC television NYC. He has worked in the world of, fashion, beauty, entertainment, and education his entire adult life. His work has appeared in (and can be seen) in print, on film, stage, and screen. He has worked with the biggest names in the design world, like Yves Saint Laurent, Dior, Valentino, Vera Wang…to name just a few. He has also enhanced the beauty of top models, celebrities, corporate titans, and even royalty. He has worked with the best in the biz, including world renowned photographers, designers, directors, and more.

Max also shared his wealth of knowledge, skills, and experience with the up-and-coming makeup artists and stylists at the renowned Parson’s School of Design in New York City. Many of his students have gone on to become “big names” in the world of fashion and beauty.

Never quite satisfied with merely creating beauty, Max has always been drawn towards the “hidden light” within everyone he’s encountered, over his many years of travelling around the world. He knew at a very early age, that he was destined to use this “gift” with the world on a much deeper and more profound level. It was this passion and purpose that has been the driving force in his charitable outreach and his mentoring programs over the many years. It was also the impetus for Max to create the non-profit organization GLOW4GOOD. The organization is made up of professionals and allies in the fashion, beauty, and entertainment world, where they continue to use their collective; skills, talents, and passion to offer aid to those in need. Special events, workshops, outreach programs, and more are just a snippet of what GLOW4GOOD has to offer.

In addition to his many projects and running the organization, Max has been busy interviewing and writing about many fascinating “creative spirits” (artists, musicians, designers, etc.) for the award-winning publication EMBRACE magazine, and soon the EMBRACE Lifestyle Network. “The ability to share the stories of so many creative souls is and absolute joy.” “It gives me great pleasure to share the light of so many, and to see how their creativity and works offer such pleasure to so many”. “To move another human being, by your “gift” is the ultimate goal in this thing we call LIFE”!
